I Did Everything Right. Or So I Thought.
When I started my Amazon business, I did what any smart entrepreneur would do. I focused on what I was good at—sourcing great products, building my brand, understanding my customers—and I outsourced the rest to the experts.
PPC advertising? Hire an agency. They do this all day, every day. They have the tools, the expertise, the data. Why would I try to compete with that?
It made perfect sense. Until it didn't.
The Uncomfortable Truth
Month after month, I'd get reports filled with metrics I didn't fully understand. Graphs that went up and down. Recommendations that seemed reasonable but I had no way to evaluate. I nodded along in calls, trusting that these professionals had my best interests at heart.
But something felt off. My business wasn't growing the way I expected. I was spending more and more, but the results weren't matching the promises. And whenever I asked questions, I got answers wrapped in jargon that left me more confused than before.
Then it hit me:
They weren't built for my success. They were built for their success. And those aren't always the same thing.

I wasn't in control of my own business. I was just along for the ride, hoping the people driving actually cared where we ended up.

I spent months learning everything the agencies knew. The strategies, the frameworks, the patterns. I dug into my own data with fresh eyes. And I started building a system that could do what I needed: connect the dots across my entire business and tell me exactly what was happening, why it mattered, and what to do about it.
Not a dashboard full of metrics I had to interpret. Not a monthly report that was already outdated. Real intelligence. Strategic recommendations. Context that actually made sense.
